1. Pretreatment
Before coating, the surface pretreatment of valve pipes is a key step to ensure the adhesion and corrosion resistance of the coating. Huacai recommends phosphating or engraving treatment to thoroughly remove oil, rust and old coating on the surface, form a uniform and dense phosphating film, and enhance the adhesion and corrosion resistance of the coating. In this step, strictly controlling the temperature, concentration and time of the treatment liquid to ensure the uniformity and quality of the phosphating film is a major advantage of Huacai in pretreatment technology.
2. Selection and preparation of powder coatings
For the special application environment of valve pipes, Huacai provides customized powder coating solutions. This type of coating usually uses polymer resin and epoxy resin as the main base materials, combining the high corrosion resistance of epoxy and the good decorative and mechanical properties of polymer resin. The preparation of pipeline powder coatings requires precise control of the proportion of each component to ensure the fluidity, uniformity and physical properties of the coating after curing. Huacai has its own raw material production center and R&D center, which can independently mix and optimize formulas to meet the customized needs of different customers.
3. Spraying technology
The spraying of valves and pipes mainly adopts corona electrostatic spraying, friction electrostatic spraying or electrostatic fluidized bed spraying technology. These technologies can efficiently and evenly adsorb powder coatings on the surface of workpieces to form a continuous and dense coating. Huacai's 34 semi-automatic production lines and German ZEPPELIN bonding machines ensure the stability and efficiency of the spraying process. Among them, corona electrostatic spraying uses a high-voltage electric field to charge the powder and adsorb it on the workpiece, which is suitable for the coating of complex-shaped valves and pipes; friction electrostatic spraying is charged by friction between powder and friction disc, which is suitable for small batch and multi-variety production; electrostatic fluidized bed spraying is suitable for large-area, high-efficiency coating operations. Huacai's advanced spraying equipment and technology ensure the uniformity and consistency of coating thickness and improve coating efficiency and quality.
4. Curing process
Curing is a key step in converting powder coating into solid coating, which directly affects the final performance of the coating. The curing conditions recommended by Huacai are usually 200°C@10 minutes or 180°C@15 minutes, but they can also be customized according to customer needs. During the curing process, the resin components in the powder coating undergo a cross-linking reaction to form a hard, wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant coating. Huacai's advanced temperature control system and strict quality control process ensure the precise control of curing temperature and time, avoiding problems such as embrittlement of the coating caused by overheating or decreased adhesion caused by insufficient curing.
