Analysis of the types of plastic powder and their respective advantages and disadvantages!

Update:15 Jun,2022
In order to make the product beautiful, we will paint the product with paint. Usually paint or plastic powder is used. Plastic powder is a thermosetting powder coating for electrostatic spraying. It is the main material used in the spraying process. surface. Plastic powder is an absolutely environmentally friendly product. There are many types of plastic powder, and the role of each plastic powder is not the same. Let's take a look!

Plastic powder can generally be divided into: thermoplastic and thermosetting, indoor powder and outdoor powder, high temperature and low temperature curing powder.

1. Thermoplastic powder coating: The main formula is polyethylene, polyethylene, polypropylene, nylon, etc.
Advantages: chemical resistance, toughness, good flexibility, suitable for thick coating.

The disadvantage is poor gloss and leveling effect and adhesion.

2. Thermosetting powder: The formula is epoxy resin, polyester resin and acrylic resin.
The advantages are: no softening and agglomeration at room temperature, good mechanical dispersibility, and easy to form a flat coating film.

3. Outdoor powder; anti-oxidation, anti-ultraviolet, anti-acid and alkali fog and rain, good thermal expansion and contraction performance. It can be applied to the coating of outdoor workpieces.

4. Indoor powder: The properties are weaker than outdoor powder, which can be used for painting indoor workpieces, and the price is relatively cheap.

5. High temperature resistant powder: It can withstand high temperature of 200 degrees for a long time without discoloration of the coating, and the physical and mechanical properties reach the allowable range.

6. Low temperature powder: It can be leveled into a coating film at a temperature of 80-150 degrees, and can be used on wood and plastic.
